Seriously, how can I be 11 days from Christmas and still have so much to do? Tree trimming, card sending and still getting some sleep in! If you are a procrastinator and in the same spot as me, sit back with your favorite cup or mug of tea and let’s make a tea gift giving plan.
Simple and easy should be the only way to give tea gifts. Whether it’s the one click on Amazon or putting something together yourself-don’t worry tea lovers there is still time to get some cute tea gifts put together so hold onto hope. The best part is you can put something together that can fit any budget.
Things I love
When giving the gift of tea I always go with things I love-at this late date though Amazon needs to be my best friend for anyone on Santa’s list that lives further away.
Samples Samples Samples
I’m still a huge believer in sample packs. David’s tea and Harney and Sons have become a huge hit for me and gift giving. I have not gone wrong with either one. They do vary in price but there is a very nice variety sampler box of Harney and Sons tea for the lower end of a budget on Amazon with 18 tea sachets for $15-a fun way to get anyone to try a variety of tea. The box to me is not the cutest but either wrap it up or add a cute tin to go with it. Spoiler alert for anyone I know 1 or 2 these may be around this Christmas.
Bottom dispersing Teapots
Another thing I love are teapots. I absolutely love my teapots that fit over your cup or mug and disperse tea through the bottom. They are perfect for home or work. The two I own are The Steeper by David’s tea and IngenuiTea by Adagio-both around $20. It may take longer at this point to go through the actual company sites without expedited shipping so I’m an Amazon one click delivered to the address.
Glass teapots-up to number 3
I’m up to 3 glass teapots, Teabloom, Kitchen Kite and Primula. You would have to know someone would appreciate these if you buy them-I love them-they are awesome for all teas including the beautiful blooming teas.
Tea baskets
If you have a bit more time I would put together a quick and easy tea basket. Usually for a small one I add a cup, tea bags, loose tea, some cookies and an ornament-if adding loose tea don’t forget a tea strainer. For this I added Paris by Harney and Sons as my loose leaf, I have not found one person yet that does not like this tea. Then I added some yummy Twinings holiday tea. These teas are not only on Amazon. World Market has a big Harney and Sons tea collection and also Target.
A larger basket idea
Tea baskets as you know will vary in price but for one of my larger ones this year I added 3 types of tea, Hot Cinnamon Sunset by Harney and Sons, Pumpkin Chai by Davids Tea and Blackberry Sage by Republic of Tea. I also added an IngenuiTEA teapot, mug, cookies, nuts, sticky fingers bakeries easy scone mix, a winter candle, a tea infuser and nut cracker. I also added some individual Twinings holiday tea and an ornament. Hopefully the receiver of this tea basket from my little Elf will love it.
So if it’s one click or basket making there’s still time to give tea to someone you know, like or love.
