Teaz green teapot with 2 yellow Fiestaware cups and saucers with tea in them

Paris by Harney Tea

Oh my gosh, there is so much tea in my life that I may have to blog more often-it’s crazy!! It’s my birthday month and what better way to celebrate than with a ton of tea? Loose leaf, sachet, bags-I think I’m wearing my kettle out! My latest tea to try was tucked away in my Sips by box, but it is one I have really wanted to try: Paris by Harney Tea.

No accounting for taste

Have you ever noticed that sometimes a ton of people rave about something, recommend you try it but it’s nothing like what you think it will be. I was a little worried about that with Paris. It is such a hit on many tea sites. When I opened my package the aroma was amazing! It was a definite must try-no question. I put the kettle on.

Loose leaf and reusable tea bags

My packet of Paris came as a loose leaf tea. Also in my Sips by box were reusable and disposable tea bags that I could have used to put my tea in but as some (not all) of my teapots have infusers I decided to use my teaz teapot so I could share. I also have a variety of individual infusers if I had preferred some of the tea alone. Some people do not like dealing with loose tea and Paris also comes as sachets.

Brewing instructions

As the package was loose tea the brewing directions were

One teaspoon for each cup of boiling water and brew for 5 minutes.

I measured mine out with the perfect spoon by David’s tea and ended up using the whole packet to make a pretty full pot.

How would you like it?

My top notch crew and I banded together. My hot tea drinking daughter and I added milk to our tea-my husband opted for almond milk. On our second cup I tried almond and he tried milk. These both brought out the wonderful flavors in the tea. Paris is thoroughly enjoyable, a definite re-purchase.

As always drink tea the way you like it-I like some plain, with milk or almond milk, sometimes a touch of honey or even sugar. Also drink the types of tea you prefer, either loose sachet or bagged. Loose tea is fun when you give it a try. Maybe next time I have some loose tea I’ll try one of those disposable tea bags -I’ll let you know how it goes.

Well I have also started to rave about Paris to all of my family and friends. It’s really worth a try. Another tea to add to my birthday list.
