I love all things chai. The smell alone is amazing. Some of my favorite childhood memories were going to some of my friends homes where their families made chai on the stove. I can make a decent chai from scratch but if I need a quick, easy batch my staple is Tazo Chai Organic Latte Concentrate.
Chai
The word chai means tea. It originated in India and is a yummy tea mixture with spices added that usually includes milk. I believe some coffee and tea shops have been kept in business due to my love of chai. There is a Starbucks on my way to work so a hot chai latte is a constant in my hand on those early mornings. I am so thankful for that! There are days though that I can’t swing by a coffee or tea shop and need a quick chai fix. Thank goodness for Tazo Chai Organic Latte.
How I found Tazo Chai Organic Latte Concentrate
Anyone who has ever met me knows I am a tea drinker. Due to that I have received many gifts over the years that are tea related. One day a friend gave me the Tazo Chai Organic Latte Concentrate. I was curious and had to try it and have never looked back.
How to make a hot Tazo Chai for 2
I make my Chai on the stove in a saucepan.
If you make it for 1 half the recipe etc.
Items you will need
- Saucepan
- Measuring cup
- 1 cup Tazo Chai Latte Concentrate
- 1 cup Milk
- Wooden spoon
Directions
- Pour the chai and milk into the saucepan
- Put it on high heat and stir
- When it boils take it off the heat
- Pour into your cup and enjoy
Another way to make hot Tazo Chai
My hot tea drinking daughters favorite way to make chai is if my husband or I make it. Her second is in the microwave for 2 minutes. She prefers to add a bit more of the chai concentrate than milk.
Iced Chai
As it is pretty hot in Texas this concentrate makes for a great iced chai. Combine the concentrate and milk then pour it over ice. You are set.

The packaging for Tazo chai organic concentrate is nothing fancy but if you know a chai lover they would be grateful for this gift. It is 32 fl oz and according to the container a blend of black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cardamon and vanilla.

This chai mix is so yummy and super easy to use. It can be found at all of the grocery stores that I go to but if you can not find any there you can get it on amazon. If you try it I am sure you will become a fan.
