After following the rabbit like Alice did in Wonderland, my tea journey has truly been an adventure. Not only do I get to try so many different types of tea but I also go in search of new tea shops-well new to me :). Many tea shops I have discovered are coffee shops-but if I’m going to one there needs to be a selection of tea. After a recommendation for Revolución Coffee and Juice in San Antonio, Texas by an avid tea drinker (my brother) I knew it must be worth a visit.
As I was in a rush I only popped in to grab a quick chai latte at the original location 7959 Broadway suite 500. The place was hidden in plain sight in an area I visit pretty often so I was very excited when I found it.
First Impressions
It had a cute outdoor sitting area-but for central Texas it was pretty chilly that day so no one was out there. People were coming and going so I knew this must be a pretty social spot.
Going in the place seemed pretty large with 2 seating areas, one a bit more secluded but still big. The coffee shop itself is white and industrial inside with pipes exposed. Seating areas included long tables. A few couches and more like study or work areas with lamps provided. I could see it being either social or a good work/study space as many patrons were on computers. There is even an area along the wall with bench and small table seating with lamps that have outlets near by.
When we walked in there was a display of kombucha tea and juices. There are also display shelves on the way to the counter. The display carried a variety of things, books, local honey, candles, coffee and more. There were also areas by the counter carried juices, juice shots and bowls.
We ordered two chai lattes with low fat milk. While we waited we checked out the juice selection.
I noticed they had some flyers for a chai bowl and a yoga matcha-as well as a $5 taco and coffee plate served until 2pm that all seemed pretty yummy and could prompt another visit.
The Chai latte
Our to-go chai arrived. The taste of this chai is very similar to our one made at home with the yummy taste of ginger and spices more prevalent. I knew we would be back for more.

After I got home I checked out their website as I had not been there long enough to see the full selection of what they had to offer.
